She who returns from the dark bears more than light.
The Eleusinian rites honor the descent into death and the ascent into grace.
Persephone walks both realms—and so do we.
To walk beneath is to rise with weight and wisdom.

Eat bread in silence.
Honor what you lost, and what it made sacred.
Do not speak of it today.
Some mysteries grow only in the dark.

Reflect on what part of you went below.
What was taken, and what came back changed?
The harvest of the soul is not soft.
It is earned beneath the earth.

Tonight, bless a seed and place it in your palm.
Say: “I too shall return.”
Then bury it in earth or memory.
